This policy describes the current PDF Engine website and browser-based tools.
PDF Engine is an online service used directly in your web browser, not a downloadable desktop software product. Files downloaded from a tool are document, image, or other task-result outputs, not software installers. The website does not distribute a desktop application, installer, browser extension, or plugin.
Files you select
Supported operations are designed to process selected files in your browser. This static website does not currently provide server-side file upload or account storage. Files are not intentionally sent to a PDF Engine document-processing server. Some file types, encrypted PDFs, damaged files, and very large documents may not work. Keep original copies and inspect every result before relying on it.
Third-party resources and connection information
The site loads JavaScript libraries and fonts from third-party content delivery networks. When your browser requests these resources, the providers may receive ordinary connection data such as your IP address, browser type and request information. Those providers handle this data under their own privacy policies.
Local storage and cookies
This version may store a light/dark theme preference in your browser's local storage. The current version does not include Google Analytics or active Google AdSense code. Local storage is controlled by your browser and can be cleared in browser settings.
Advertising cookies and choices
If Google AdSense or another advertising service is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar technologies to serve, limit, personalize and measure ads. Third-party vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Users can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings, or review industry opt-out choices at aboutads.info. Where required for users in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, an appropriate Google-certified consent management platform and consent disclosures will be configured before ads are served.
Children
This general-purpose utility website is not designed specifically for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

This policy may be updated when site features, analytics or advertising change. The date above indicates the latest revision.
